So I have been doing a lot more grain free recipes lately as I am finding other grains are also bloating me more and more.
The other day I really wanted a burger! You know with "bread" and all. So I whipped up some of these and they were a hit with everyone.
As a tip, make sure you beat the egg whites well (but you can over beat them so once they stiffen and form peaks stop).
With the egg yolk mixture, make sure you only fold it into the egg whites VERY gently. if you mix or over-fold your mixture will turn runny and it wont work.
3 eggs separated
3Tbsp cream cheese
1/4 tsp baking powder
Mix egg yolks and cream cheese together till smooth.
Beat egg whites and baking power till peaks form.
Fold yolk mixture into egg whites.
Spoon onto parchment paper (I did 10 rounds)
Cook at 300F for 17-20 mins (mine were in for 18 mins).
Broil for a min if the tops aren't brown (I didn't need to do this)
Remove and let cool - enjoy
