Best sleeping position for someone with diastasis recti
Your sleeping position can impact your diastasis (and your back).
Check out the best positions to sleep in and how to make them better so that your pelvis remains in a more neutral position.
NOTE: sleep (no matter in which position) is the most important, so if you find you can't sleep like this OR you move through out the night, don't worry. Just try to start out in a good position and if for some reason you wake up in the night adjust yourself again then.
On your side with a pillow between your knees (to keep them aligned and your pelvis neutral)
On your back with a pillow under your knees (to keep your pelvis neutral)
On your tummy is the least favorable position for diastasis, and if possible should be avoided. BUT if this is the only way you can sleep place a pillow under your hips to help you stay aligned.
You can see more information about this in the below video.
